Privacy Notice

Last updated: 2025-03-27

Retention

We retain account, enrollment, and learning records as long as needed to deliver services, meet quality standards, and satisfy lawful requests. Course artifacts you submit for grading may be retained for twelve months unless a shorter window is contractually agreed. Marketing preferences are stored until you withdraw consent. Backup systems may retain deleted data for a limited technical period before overwriting.

Data collected

We collect identifiers such as name and email, professional context you choose to share, attendance data, assessment scores, support conversations, and technical logs from our learning platforms. Tuition collection details are processed by our enrollment partners where applicable; we do not store full card numbers on our servers. Cookies and similar technologies are described in the Cookie Policy.

Scope

This Privacy Notice applies to visitors of station-node.one, applicants, enrolled participants, and corporate contacts coordinating training. It does not apply to third-party sites we link to; their policies govern their processing. If you participate through an employer, both this notice and your employer's agreements may apply.

Contact

The data controller for personal information described here is QueryHarbor Academy, reachable at hello@station-node.one or the postal address on the Contact page. For privacy-related requests, include enough detail to verify your identity without oversharing sensitive identifiers. We will respond within reasonable timelines required by applicable law.

Third parties

We use infrastructure and communications vendors to host labs, send email, and analyze site reliability. Contracts require processors to protect data and process it only on our instructions. We do not sell personal information. If we add subprocessors materially affecting risk, we will update this notice and, where required, seek consent.

Use of data

We use data to operate cohorts, personalize communication, improve curriculum, secure systems, and comply with law. Analytics on site usage help us understand navigation friction. We avoid excessive profiling; automated decisions with legal effects are not used for admissions.

Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, and to object to certain processing. Republic of Korea residents may have rights under the Personal Information Protection Act. We will verify requests to prevent fraud. You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority where applicable.

Security measures

We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures including access controls, encryption in transit for modern clients, monitoring, and vendor due diligence. No method of transmission is perfectly secure; report suspected incidents promptly so we can investigate and mitigate.

International transfers

If data is processed outside the Republic of Korea, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions where available. Enterprise customers may request transfer impact summaries for their agreements.
